Equipment

  • Punch Bowl or Large Pitcher
  • Ladle
  • Mixing Spoon
  • Measuring Cups
  • Serving Glasses or Cups

Ingredients

Punch Base

  • 4 cups Lemon-lime soda (e.g. Sprite or 7-Up) Use club soda for less sweetness or a zero-sugar version
  • 4 cups Pineapple juice Fresh or canned; fresh yields brighter flavor
  • 2 cups Orange juice Use fresh-squeezed or store-bought
  • 1/2 cup Grenadine Adds red hue; pomegranate or cherry syrup also works
  • 2 cups Ice Keeps punch chilled without diluting too quickly

Optional Garnish & Coloring

  • Gummy worms, spiders, or eyeball candies Adds festive flair and spooky décor
  • a few drops Food coloring (green or purple) Optional; enhances Halloween look

Instructions

  • Chill all your liquids and ingredients ahead of time to reduce the need for excessive ice and maintain bold flavor.
  • In a large punch bowl or pitcher, pour in lemon-lime soda, pineapple juice, and orange juice. Stir gently to blend.
  • Slowly pour grenadine into the mixture. Let it sink to create a spooky red swirl effect reminiscent of potion magic.
  • Add ice to keep the punch chilled. For extra Halloween charm, add a few drops of green or purple food coloring and stir lightly.
  • Garnish with gummy worms, spiders, or eyeball candies floating on top for a creepy, fun presentation.
  • Serve immediately with a ladle, ensuring each serving includes some fizz, juice, and a bit of garnish. Best served within 20 minutes for maximum sparkle.

Notes

Hocus Pocus Punch is perfect for Halloween parties, kids’ gatherings, or themed movie nights. For an adult twist, replace part of the soda with sparkling wine or rum — but always label clearly for guests!
